The Image Attributes dialog box enables you to choose an image and provides control to every aspect of the image placement process.

The dialog box contains the following sections:

• Image Resources
• Preview
• Alternate Text
• Alignment
• Border
• Size
• Space

To import an image, click the Import button. The Import Image dialog box will be displayed.

Note: No editing is available after the Animated GIF imported. The first frame is only displayable in GIF series while page editing.

To create a new image using the built-in Graphic Editor, click the Create button. The Image Properties dialog box will be displayed. Set the image properties. The image will be stored in the folder that set as default image folder of your site (by default, the Images folder).

• If you want to insert an image you have already used in the project, use the Existing Resources tab. Choose an image from the site tree displayed in this tab.
• You can also use an image from the custom library. Select the library from the drop-down menu and then choose an appropriate image (the Library tab).
• You can use an image from other site. Simply enter the URL of the image you want (the URL tab).

To acquire an image from any of Twain data source compliant devices, click the Acquire... button. The Acquire dialog box appears.
Note:When more than one acquiring device is active i.e. you acquire an image (or images) from another Twain data source having left the previous one not closed, then you are prompted with an error message about software conflict. To avoid this, close currently opened dialog box or window first (if you started to acquire an image through dialog box). Then close the Twain data source box. Repeat acquiring again.

The Preview section enables you to preview the chosen image or layout of the image. There are two check boxes to switch between these two types of previews.
Both previews are turned off when both check boxes are cleared.
Check the Preview Image box to preview the chosen image.
Check the Preview Layout box to see how the image will be displayed in your page layout.

The Alternate Text section enables you to enter a text that will be displayed by browser instead of an image, if browser does not display it for some reasons (during the download or if the website viewer has set his browser to ignore images). Check it and enter your text.

The Alignment section enables you to align your image on the page. You can align the image Horizontally or Vertically. The following types of alignment are available:

• Horizontal Alignment:
• BaseAlign - the bottom edge of the image will be aligned with the base of the current text line
• TopMost - the top of the image will be aligned with the tallest object in the text line
• TextTop - the top of the image will be aligned with the current text line
• Middle - the center of the image will be aligned with the baseline
• AbsMiddle - the image will be aligned to the absolute center of text line
• TextBottom - the bottom of the image will be aligned with the bottom edge of the text
• BottomMost - the bottom of the image will be aligned with the bottom of objects in the current line


• Vertical Alignment:
• Left - the object will be placed on the left of the page
• Right - the object will be placed on the right of the page

The Border section enables you to add a border around the image. Check the Border check box and enter the size in pixels for the border.

If you want the browser to display the image stretched, click the Size check box. The Horizontal and Vertical controls let you set the new size in pixels regarding to the browser's window.

To change the spacing between the selected image and other components of the page, use the Horizontal and Vertical controls in Space section. Check the Space check box and enter an appropriate value.

The Advanced... button enables you to perform advanced operations with HTML coding and scripting in the Advanced Web operations dialog box.
